This privacy policy covers joshsalway.com, the personal site and portfolio of Josh Salway. It explains what information this site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information this site collects
joshsalway.com is a static site and does not require an account to use. The only data it handles is:
- Analytics. I use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymised traffic patterns such as which pages are popular and roughly where visitors come from. This helps me improve the site. Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser.
- Contact form. If you reach out through the contact form, the details you submit (such as your name, email address, and message) are sent to me so I can reply. Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms on my behalf.
How your information is used
I use the information above only to operate and improve the site and to respond to messages you send me. I do not sell your personal information, and I do not use it for advertising profiles.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics for the purposes described above. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not break the site.
Third party services
This site relies on a small number of third party services that may process limited data as part of delivering the site to you:
- Netlify for hosting and contact form handling.
- Google Analytics for anonymised usage statistics.
- Google Fonts for typography.
Each of these providers operates under its own privacy policy.

I build and operate a number of separate applications and websites. Those products are not covered by this policy. You can browse this site without providing any personal information. You can opt out of Google Analytics using a browser extension or by blocking analytics cookies. If you have contacted me and would like your message data deleted, let me know.
